Music Educators Conference at the Woodruff Center for the Arts, Atlanta June 4, 2015

On June 4th, I co-presented "Creativity Infusion in the Curriculum" with a team of outstanding artists and teachers.  The two-hour session included Creativity research findings, introduction to the Creativity Instruction Matrix*, explorative activities in drama, creative movement, art, music and connecting to the Core Values of arts instruction.  Emphasis was placed on infusing the general curriculum with research-based approaches that can change and redirect our classroom instruction towards more meaningful student engagement, innovative and speculative thought processes, critical thinking and questioning strategies.  
Great group of 60+ participants, well received by all and excellent feedback received from the teachers.
